Get the most GREEN for your buck!

The start of the school year is the perfect opportunity to make a statement – new backpacks, notebooks, lunch gear and sneakers all reflect something about us.  This year, make your statement: I buy recycled to close the recycling loop and keep recycling working!”

Instead of a buying regular pencils, how about ones made from old denim or newsprint? Don’t stop there, many pens have recycled content too!

Google recycled backpack and discover colorful backpack and messenger bags made of recycled PET (polyethylene terephthalate) bottles—your plastic water bottles! Try this great conversation starter: “Guess how many plastic bottles it took to make this backpack?”

Keep “in the loop” now by recycling your old binders at Office Depot®Office Max® stores in partnership with Terracycle®.

Challenge your school campus to help eliminate waste by joining with Terracycle®  to collect and recycle difficult-to-recycle items, like juice packs and candy wrappers. This year’s collection could become next year’s backpack!
