Holiday Recycling and Trash Service

After the gifting, dining and celebrating are done… please remember these recycling and solid waste tips/reminders to keep your spirit bright into the New Year!

Waste Management will provide curbside pickup of trash, recycling and yard trimmings to all residents on their regularly scheduled service day during the winter holidays. Because Christmas and New Year’s occur on weekends, there will be no interruption or delay of solid waste services.

Special holiday services will be offered to assist residents who exceed the capacity of their recycling or trash cart. For a trouble-free pick-up, please place carts at curb by 7 a.m., make sure that lids on carts close completely and follow service guidelines.

Remove all decorations, lights and tanglers from the tree. Remove the tree stand. Place the tree at the curb on your regular service day.

Schedule as a bulk/heavy pickup by calling (800) 800-5804. Call at least two working days before your regular service day.

Tags can be purchased for $1.75/tag from The Woodlands Township offices, Kroger (Cochran’s Crossing, Alden Bridge and Sterling Ridge) or Randall’s (Grogan’s Mill and Panther Creek). Attach one tag per bag of trash. Each bag must weigh less than 40 pounds.

To schedule bulk pick-up services or to report a missed pick-up, please call Waste Management at 800-800-5804 or e-mail
