Whether you smoke or not, you can help to keep our community clean and green by participating in the Cigarette Butt Brigade at Earth Day GreenUp on Saturday, March 25, 2017. As part of the community wide cleanup, this effort will target cigarette butt litter.
Join the Cigarette Butt Brigade!
- Fill plastic bags with cigarette butts you find in the community.
- Bring your bags to GreenUP party at Rob Fleming Park (6055 Creekside Forest Drive) between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
- Drop off at the tent with the red flag in the Cigarette Butt booth.
- Cigarette butts will be mailed to TerraCycle for recycling!
Even if you aren’t pre-registered, you can still participate in Earth Day GreenUp! Drop in at a designated park in your Village on Saturday, March 25, 2017, between 8 and 10 a.m. Receive gloves and an assigned cleanup area. After the cleanup, join us at the party in Rob Fleming Park for food, fun and music!
