If it’s summer, someone is swimming, fishing, boating, or cooling off with a beverage in an ice-filled glass. WATER! There are a thousand wonderful and special things connecting us to water in the summer!
What about you? Are you using water wisely this summer? Inside our homes, all of the water has been treated for drinking even if it is used for showering, doing laundry or washing dishes.
Drinking water is costly! Finding ways to maximize its use and avoid wasting it is both financially smart and environmentally sound. Take a minute to consider how we can improve our water-use habits.

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality shares more common sense suggestions to improve our summer water use. They call it taking care of Texas. It’s a message we can all get behind to show just how much water means to each one of us.
