FB Banner

Volunteer (2)For years, the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department (T.P.W.D.) has provided educational programming about habitat for wildlife, for

large acreage landowners, local communities and individuals. The Board of Directors of The Woodlands Township has resolved to support creation and improvement of habitat for pollinators within the Township, beginning in 2018.

On Saturday, February 3, 2018 residents are invited to learn practical ways to create and maintain habitat for pollinators and other desirable wildlife such as birds. The workshop will introduce concepts and issues that led the Township Board to adopt the pollinator initiative resolution.

Residents will be given the tools to extend the program into their own landscapes and provide information about habitat certification programs for homeowners.
