Before going out of doors, reach for insect repellent to keep these nuisance biters at bay and to protect your family from more concerning, disease-carrying mosquitoes, Aedes albopictus and Culex quinquefasciatus.

To reduce mosquitoes after the recent rains, The Woodlands Township Environmental Services Department encourages residents to check their yards for standing water and to empty containers to reduce mosquito breeding sites.
