Opt instead for floor fans such as an oscillating fan, box fan, or shop fan you likely have already – or upgrade to a mounted solution in your outdoor space.

First, strategically place your box fan where you hang out the most and are pestered by these biting suckers, such as the patio or grill area. Since mosquitoes are most active from dusk till dawn, crank up your box fan during these peak hours.
