Ready, Set, Go! The 2016 Village Recycling Challenge is off and running. The annual competition between Villages, in conjunction with the November America Recycles Day event, serves as a reminder for residents that a variety of items can be recycled beyond curbside.
Each year’s challenge targets a hard-to-recycle item for special collection and also highlights the Township’s Recycle More Guide. A lot of non-standard products can be recycled, but they DO NOT belong in the curbside bin!
For the 2016 Village Challenge, The Township is continuing its partnership with Terracycle® to recycle oral care products. Collect the items at home from any manufacturer and bring them to your Village’s booth at the 3R Bazaar on Saturday, November 12, 2016, from 9 a.m to 1 p.m. (8203 Millennium Forest Drive).
Helpful Tip: Residents can pick up a handy collection bag at the Parks, Recreation and Environmental Services facility located at 8203 Millennium Forest Drive, The Woodlands TX 77381.
