The Woodlands Township Environmental Services Department is excited to announce the results of the annual 3R event held last month.

Thanks to an incredible turnout, Woodlands residents made this our biggest recycling event to date!

Do you know that Americans purchase over 3 billion single-use batteries per year?

We run on batteries. From TV remotes and toys to smoke detectors and emergency radios. We rely on batteries for everything from entertainment to safety.

Good news! Batteries can be recycled, just not in your curbside cart. Instead, bring them to the 3R Drive-Thru Event this Saturday and help keep batteries out of the landfill.

Recycling Dilemma #1008: Plastic Bags and Film – Friend or Foe?

Did you know that plastic bags are the #1 contaminant in our curbside recycling program?
